Here is Dan's interview in full

Dan, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and many thanks for taking the time to do the interview.
Thank you, it is my pleasure.

Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background? You come from Leicestershire, England, right?
I’m 16! I have grown up in a small village in the middle of Leicestershire. I have always been extremely active and generally led a healthy lifestyle.

You must get this all the time and we don’t want to keep referring to this ... so let’s get it out of the way ... you have an incredible physique for a 16 year old guy! How do you do it and how did it all start?
Thank you very much, as I said above I have always been very active and have always done a wide range of sports. I was introduced to Martial Arts at the age of 6 and I found my first passion. In Martial Arts you have to have determination, will power and must persevere. I believe that these qualities have helped me with my gym training, throughout the hardest sessions and when dieting down really gets mentally tough.

How do you stay healthy?
I am a firm believer that you are what you eat. If you eat like crap you’ll get crap results! If you eat well you will get good results. In my opinion nutrition is the key factor to getting that body you want. I stick to a well balanced diet, which includes such things as, lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish), both HIGH GI and LOW GI carbohydrates (oats, brown rice, banana, apples and good healthy fats like peanut butter, omega 3 oils and almonds).

Do you do any sport?
I have always trained in Martial Arts, Taekwondo and kickboxing mainly. I thoroughly dedicated my life pretty much to training from the age of 6 to 14. I gained my black belt by the time I was 9 years old and second degree by 11. I have won many regional and national medals. I was the youngest ever athlete to represent England at the world championships where I gained a silver medal in the under 18 category.

That’s impressive Dan! What is your best lift at the gym?
My legs have always been my strong part; my Martial Art training has helped with this. For leg training you need powerful explosive legs. My best lift is 150kg squat for 3 reps; at 16 nearly a record!

What are your top three favourite exercises and why?
The Big 3: Squatting, dead lifting and bench pressing.
These movements are essential in my training routine, they are compound movements meaning more than one muscle/joint is working at the same time. They help with all over body strength and are a brilliant mass builder.

What’s the best form of cardio for you?
I love doing slow steady paced cardio on an empty stomach as soon as I get up. I walk up and down the stairs for 40 minutes. This is brilliant for those of you who live alone but my family hate me waking them up at the crack of dawn every day!

What’s your gym/training routine like?
I stick to a 5 day training routine and with two days rest. I feel getting enough rest is imperative to making gains and keeping growth at the optimal level. My routine is chest, back, shoulders, legs, arms.

How do you keep motivated?
I always look up to people in the industry such as, Greg Plitt and Rob Riches. These are great inspirations to me and I had the pleasure of meeting Rob at this year’s Bodypower. He gave me some great tips to enhance my training and I was very grateful.

How do you fit bodybuilding and fitness into your life? Is it a difficult thing to achieve?
I found it difficult when I was studying at school, fitting in meals and preparation of them was the hardest part along with actually being able to afford all the food that I consume on a daily basis. But I knew what I wanted and I just managed to fit it in! If you want something bad enough you will find a way of doing it.

What do you eat in a normal day?
I am keeping to a strict KETO diet at the moment to try and loose the last bit of body fat. This consists of high protein, medium fat no carb diet. Very gruelling for the first week or so but I’ve got used to it! I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!

Do you allow yourself a cheat day? If so, what is your guilty pleasure?
I feel it’s very important to have a cheat day especially being at a young age. I love to socialise with my friends and get away from all the dieting and training and have whatever I want. My guilty pleasure is part of my diet so pretty good! It’s peanut butter! Love the stuff!

What do you find the most challenging being a young fitness athlete?
People often disregarding me due to my age, people saying I am not ready. I know a lot of people are warning me of the possible dangers. But I’m trying to find a photographer who will shoot me!

What about fitness and bodybuilding competitions?
I am very interested in competing next year; I am trying to pack on a bit more size after July for around 6 months to increase thickness so I will be ready for a teen category next year.

You have just done your first professional work with Justin Tayler. How was that?
It was a truly amazing experience. I was really grateful to Justin who gave me the opportunity to shoot with him for the NEW FACES COMPETITION. I am trying to get my name known around and about and this was the perfect opportunity for me to do this.

Good luck with the competition Dan! Would you consider a career in modelling?
I definitely would consider modelling yes. I do realise that there isn’t much money in the industry. But I hope one day to be a sponsored athlete and share my experiences with other people who love fitness!

What’s the best advice you have been given about modelling?
To try and get as many photoshoots as possible to build a portfolio but also to be careful of the dangers that arise in this industry.

What do you do in your down time?
I don't have much free time with the training and all that but when I do I like spending time with my mates and my family, go on walks and hikes ...

Now a few quick fun questions if you are game? Do you think you are a good date?
I’m a single man! Always been a single man! Not up for anything serious yet! But love a bit of fun!

Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?
Definitely boxers! Tight.

What do you listen to on your iPod?
Anything in the charts really I'm not to fussed.

Your favourite song/piece of music to play while running?
A bodybuilding motivational video soundtrack! Gets me pumped!

One last question Dan, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
I would love to be a sponsored athlete and share the experiences I’ve learnt over the years and my thoughts with people. I would love to be a fully recognised fitness model and maybe one day be on a front cover!

We believe at Stunning Men that one day we will see you gracing the cover of health and fitness mags! Dan, it was really great and fun to do this interview with you! Thank you for your time and for being such good sport. All the best for the future!

Here’s his interview in full

Isky, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and many thanks for taking the time to do the interview.
Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background?
From when I was young I’ve always been active and in action. My name given to me by my mother is originally Iskandar Fay; I am Malaysian but was born in London.

As well as doing fitness modelling, stunts, martial arts, and filming I also am doing a medical science course in college and will be going to university next year to do sports and exercise rehabilitation.

You have a stunning physique. How do you maintain it and keep healthy? I imagine practising martial arts helps!
I am able to maintain my body by staying full of life, not ever being lazy and always keeping a decent diet. When I was around 14 I did tae kwon do and was lucky enough to join the tae kwon do demonstration team to do performances as I was a quick learner and flexible at doing kicks and tricks.

Between my tae kwon do years I was able to get on the Kensington and Chelsea athletics team in secondary school to compete against other schools in the UK. My specialities in the athletics team were high jump, long jump and the 100m races.

When I was 17 I decided to take a break from tae kwon do and move on to doing fitness training in the gym and also Mix Martial Arts (MMA) with my older brother.

What is your best lift at the gym?
Everyone is born with a special certain muscle that their body develops better more than others, my advantage muscles have to be my legs, biceps and triceps. The most I have ever pushed with my legs are around 340KG at my best.

What are your top three favourite exercises and why?
My first favourite exercise has to be the leg press because in the first place, I enjoy doing my legs. It also allows my whole body to grow bigger and faster due to the fact that this exercise produces more testosterone in the body. If my legs are big, my upper body will follow to become proportional to my legs.

The second is cable grip standing fly. This is a must do for me as I do enjoy pumping up my chest but also because my chest is my weak spot; so I always enjoy being productive and improving the weakest part of my body.

Lastly The triceps extensions using dumb bells or barbells because I enjoy doing my triceps and I am always able to go really heavy on my triceps too. I get a really good triceps pump which really looks unreal! (Isky laughs)

What’s the best form of cardio for you?
The best form of cardio for me is really just running and jogging to be honest, with a spice of sit-ups and crunches and also an 8 minute abs workout. You can see this here

I don’t know the aerobic man’s name but I always do this exercise too for every cardio session I have. I can never not do any abs when I’m giving myself a cardio session.

What’s your gym/training routine like?
I do my best to train 5 – 7 days a week with a week break every 3 weeks of training.
Monday – legs
Tuesday – chest and triceps
Wednesday – back, traps, shoulders and biceps
Thursday – cardio with abs
Friday – chest
Saturday – maybe legs
Sunday – maybe cardio with abs

How do you keep motivated?
My brother always keeps me motivated, always giving me small pet talks on what I can be in the future and how much potential I have in being a ‘somebody’.

My mother also motivates me because she has a lot of faith in me, which gives me the confidence to train harder. This also makes my mother happy, which is my life’s goal as she has been a supportive single mother throughout my life.

I have a lot of friends who are 1st placed or sponsored fitness models who make me just want to be part of their group. So basically really my family and friends motivate me to train harder in life.

How do you fit bodybuilding and fitness into your life? Is it a difficult thing to achieve?
I find it pretty difficult as I have education to deal with at the same time and body building itself is a lifestyle in which it’s hard to eat every 2-3 hours during college hours and the whole fitness training is ok.

I guess as fitness itself is about being fit and healthy so I’m ok with that, it’s just the body building part which is hard to mixing with fitness in my life.

How do you approach a challenge?
It depends on whether I think the challenge is hard or not for me. If it’s something I feel confident in I’ll just hit it where it stands but if it isn’t, I will think about it first as I am kind of a neat freak or perfectionist...

What do you eat in a normal day?
On a normal day I would normally consume high amounts of protein, which means for breakfast a protein shake maybe with oats or some brown rice and chicken.

Then I would normally eat grilled chicken later, then maybe a sandwich with something meaty or fish like salmon and a pre-work out drink (sometimes Size On or No Explode or Rage) after training I would have some brown rice or noodles with meat or fish and some fruits for desert like berries and banana. I would have another meal before I go to sleep followed by a casein protein shake.

Do you allow yourself a cheat day? If so, what is your guilty pleasure?
I know some people will hate me for this but yes I do sometimes require a cheat day at some point. I know it’s looked down on by many fitness people but I guess some people just can’t resist their very own guilty pleasure. I LOVE CHOCOLATE. Chocolate is My Guilty Pleasure, I love all kinds of chocolates, from white to dark to milk to any kind.

You do stunts for TV and films. Could you tell us a bit about your acting?
My acting skills are very believable; I’ve done many fight scenes and dangerous stunts in my pass in front of the camera.

Could we talk about your passion for acrobatics and martial arts?
I always love expressing myself with acrobatics or perhaps with just movement itself, I enjoy doing acrobatics because it allows me to feel free and safe knowing that my body is capable of looking after itself without the sense of getting hurt.

I love martial arts because it has helped me overcome many obstacles in my life and has disciplined me to the max, which I can only love more. I hope to pass on my passion for martial arts to my kids in the future as that is how strong my passion for martial arts is.

How did you get into modelling? Is it something you always wanted to do?
I got into modeling when I was 16 as that is the legal age for doing modelling and adverts. I always wanted to pursue modelling in the first place. I used to take lots of model-like pictures and poses for my msn page when I was young and had lots of people commenting on how photogenic I was and how I have a good facial structure.

What do you enjoy the most about modelling?
The most I enjoy about modelling is that I am able to meet many different types of people, my contact list from every casting, advert, movie, and modelling work will just grow and grow. It’s definitely a very fun way to meet many people from many different backgrounds.

What advice would you give a new model?
Be confident, don’t make any hasty decisions, the best thing about falling down is getting back up! Also remember to have fun!

What do you do in your down time?
I don’t allow myself to have a down town, plus if it ever happens gym is my remedy.

Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?
My mum as she has been a single mother since the day I was born and had the strength to raise 2 amazing boys and my older brother Fauzie Fay who was always my motivation.  He was my inspiration to martial arts and always forced me into doing sport activities when I was young! (more laughs)

Now a few quick fun questions if you are game? Do you think you are a good date?
Maybe...

Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?
I’m a boxer kinda guy

What do you listen to on your iPod?
Jazz, Piano, Dubstep!, RnB, Slow Jam, anything that sounds good to my ears.

Your favourite song/piece of music to play while running?
DUBSTEP!

What kind of movies do you like?
ACTION!

What three words describe you best?
B - BIG
F - FRIENDLY
G - GIANT
(That’s what most of my friends call me)

One final question Isky, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
Hopefully doing action films, getting my name out and hopefully getting myself on the big screen.

Isky, it was great to do this interview with you! Thank you for your time and for being a good sport. All the best for the future!

Myles' interview in full

Myles, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and many thanks for taking the time to do the interview. Could we start off with talking a little about yourself and your background? You currently live in Wales but are from Worcester, England, right?
Yes, I am originally from Worcester where I attended a private school with a heavy focus on sports and athletics, which I like not only for the physical benefits but also the lessons and mannerisms it teaches you both on and off the pitch. After school I completed my level 3 personal training qualification so as to learn how to not only better my own training but also that of those around me. I now work in recruitment but I am currently relocating to London to pursue a fulltime career in fitness modelling.

You have a stunning physique. How do you maintain it and keep healthy? Do you do any sport?
I train on average around 12 hours a week this consists of 6 gyms sessions and an MMA training session as I find this is the best way to stay fit without the tediousness of standard cardio. I also do 100 sit ups and 100 press ups every morning when I get up and every evening before bed.

What is your best lift at the gym?
My best lift in the gym would be 195kg on decline bench.

What’s your gym/training routine like?
I always warm up with 10 minutes of cardio and then progress into my workout typically I do 5 sets of any given exercise increasing the weight and dropping the reps as I go typically the reps go 12,10,8,6,4. I train the primary and secondary muscles involved in each exercise together such as back and bis and chest and tris. I train my core at the end of every session and cool down with 10 minutes of cardio.

How do you keep motivated?
I am a very goal orientated person so once I set my mind to something I won’t stop until it is done so for me motivation is never a problem. I genuinely enjoy training and have been told by many people when I couldn’t train due to injury that I am miserable without it!

How do you fit bodybuilding and fitness into your life? Is it a difficult thing to achieve?
To be honest bodybuilding and fitness isn’t something that you can just fit into your life; it is something that you must fit your life around. As whatever you’re doing you always have to be thinking how this will affect my training/condition and it must always take priority or you will never get anywhere.

How do you approach a challenge?
I always approach a challenge head on as if you spend too much time worrying about something then it will never actually get done and the worst you can do is fail, in which case you simply try again!

What do you eat in a typical day?
Breakfast:
Protein shake with oats and a shot of olive oil to give your energy levels an extra boost in the morning
11am:
A chicken breast with cheese and a banana
Lunch:
Lean meat (chicken/turkey/steak/venison) with chopped tomatoes and peppers
4pm:
Protein shake
Post training:
500g’s Steak
Before Bed:
Protein shake with casein

Do you allow yourself a cheat day? If so, what is your guilty pleasure?
I tend to have a cheat day usually straight after a shoot as I tend to be exhausted and need some quick energy and use it as a little pat on the back to myself, if I had a guilty pleasure I would have to say it’s KFC because I can just lie to myself and say it’s “just chicken”.

How did you get into modelling? Is it something you always wanted to do?
I got into modelling because a number of my friends did it when I was growing up so I did a small amount of fashion modelling when I was 18 and then when I started to get a bit too big for “slim fitting blazers” I decided to take a break and develop my physique and now here I am ready to take the world of fitness!!!

What do you enjoy the most about modelling?
I enjoy the variety of people that you meet and the element of creativity and versatility that is involved. It also serves as a great critiquing tool as you can learn just as much from a bad photo as you can a good one.

What advice would you give a new model?
Train hard, never lose sight of your dreams and always be humble and realize that there is always someone better and most of all it is all about building strong relationships within the industry as this can really make or break a young model’s future. Finally “Rome wasn’t built in a day” it will come, just keep giving it 110% and in time you will get there.

What do you do in your down time?
In my down time (the little I get) I like to relax with friends and when possible go on a crazy adventure I’d tell you more but I’d probably get in trouble! (laugh)

Wouldn’t we like to know! Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?
Two words “Arnold Schwarzenegger”! The man is an idol to me and should be to everyone. He never let anything get in his way; he achieved every goal he ever set and in my eyes is and always will be the greatest bodybuilder! He comes from the golden age of bodybuilding when they looked like super athletes and that is something to be appreciated.

Now a few quick fun questions if you are game? Do you think you are a good date?
I’d say I am certainly an interesting date. Let’s put it this way a girl once told me she was adventurous and out going so for a first date instead of the usual dinner and drinks combination I took her rock climbing outdoors up the side of a cliff.

A sporty first date! Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?
I have a slight obsession with Diesel and Armani boxers and will never be caught in anything else.

What do you listen to on your iPod?
I am a strictly classic rock type of guy AC/DC, Metallica, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult etc. but I’d be lying if I said One Direction didn’t sneak onto my ipod once!

What kind of movies do you like?
I love a range of movies to be honest. I am fascinated by the ancient worlds of Greece and Rome etc so films like Troy will always be in the top. But I also love a good comedy and let’s not forget Predator, possibly one of the greatest films ever made.

One last question Myles, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?
I would love to be still modelling as I intend to push my career as far as possible. But whatever I am doing and wherever I am, as long as myself and those around me are happy I’m sure I will be just fine.

Myles, it was great to do this interview with you! Thank you for your time and for being a good sport. All the best for the future!
